As part of the deal, valued at close to one million euros, Telenet has installed Intec’s Inter-mediatE™ solution to enable the company to collect and process information on traffic carried over its network.
Intec has replaced Telenet’s existing in-house mediation system with an innovative and effective platform. Its Inter-mediatE solution offers the scalability and functionality to seamlessly support Telenet’s increasing voice and IP traffic volumes, thereby providing fast and reliable billing records from a convergent platform. In addition, Inter-mediatE provides the necessary flexibility to implement real-time, convergent mediation business rules for any billing model, thereby improving customer service and minimising time-to-market for new, value-added services."
