Ik gebruik zelf al jaren, op Mac, Little Snitch. https://www.obdev.at/products/littlesnitch/index.html

Daarmee krijg je melding zodra een app naar buiten wil. Vervolgens kun je zelf beslissen of je dat toelaat of niet, en voor hoe lang, voor altijd of zolang je het programma gebruikt.

Zeer praktisch. Zo zie je bijvoorbeeld hoe vaak Adobe Software de licentie wil checken of hoe Microsoft data naar buiten smokkelt als je word gebruikt.

Zo werkt Simplewall ook naar wat ik begrepen heb, het is ook nog eens open source.

Op Mac gebruik daarvoor Lulu. NIet zo uigebreid als Little Snitch maar doet goed zijn werk.
