7360 als modem

I'm using the international firmware 6.88 on a Fritz!Box 7360v2.

I'm not using PPPoE Passthrough, but it is available in the GUI. I guess it just works.

I've tried the modification on the config file but i've almost "bricked" my 7360V2 Fritzbox. Hopefully the box cames back after 10 minutes..

There is no need for any modification on the config file
As mentioned by raf1 above, FW 124.06.88 will run on the Proximus network.

Is anyone knows if we can now upgrade to International Firmware 6.88 and if the pppoe Passthrough works with only the settings on the GUI enabled ?

As menioned before, PPPoE passtroug will work fine with OS 06.88
Condition of course:

• FritzBox is set to Country Belgium
• and you selected EDPNet (or any other ISP working with PPPoE on VLAN10).
• and EDPNet allows 2 PPPoE sessions (not sure abouth this)

Hence you may need to cancel the first PPPoE connection of the FritzBox (if you want to use it as modem only?)

Hi,

With the update on 6.88, everything works perfectly. Fyi, no vlan input is necessary on Dream Router side, just PPPoE Credentials.

thanks for the info!
i didnt know i could receive a second external ip address, tried it, works fine ( edpnet ) - indeed no vlan settings behind the fritzbox (7530) required only the pppoe
