New VDSL Scarlet Box

Hi there

I am thinking about getting a new Scarlet VDSL connection to replace my ADSL2 connection, but I want the Scarlet box to function only as a modem.
Has anyone done this and can provide a HowTo for this ?
Is there a user manual and some pictures of the connection ports that I can obtain somewhere ?
Any other items to watch out for with this ? Does it work OK ?

Thanks, Regards

No problem at all:
  • * Connect the WAN port of your own router to LAN1 of the Scarlet box (Sagem).
    * Set-up your router to make a PPPoE session, using your Scarlet credentials. Your router will receive a public IP.
    * You could disable PPPoE on the Scarlet Box (because no use), and/or the WLAN.

Not sure about a user manual, nevertheless plenty of info on the internet (mostly in dutch or french).
Just google for "BBox2" or "sagem f@st 3464" or "bbox2+bridge).
e.g. http://patrick.vande-walle.eu/belgacom- ... in-bridge/

Thanks. So the "new" Scarlet Box is still the "old" BBox2 in a different shape aka the Sagem f@st 3464.
I know about that box from before when I tried to get Belgacom to install one (turns out that there was no VDSL in my street despite Belgacom's OK !)
Three years on, I'll try again, this time with Scarlet.

Very useful link - cheers.
