Hp 5510 en windows 7

Sinds kort ben ik in het bezit van windows 7 64 bit,echter bij het zoeken naar de printer kan hij hem wel vinden maar geen drivers installeren.Heb de vista drivers geprobeerd maar niks.Ik kan wel via de pc een scanopdracht uitvoeren op mn printer echter printen gaat niet.Wie weet raad?

Bij HP gaan ze er er van uit dat iedereen bij een nieuwe windows versie ook een nieuwe printer koopt.
Ik had dezelfde problemen bij de overgang van XP naar Vista.
Mijn nieuwe printer is daarom een Canon.
Die werkt perfect in Windosw 7.

Enkel voor de consumenten markt dan. Mijn "HP OfficeJet PSC 2210" is al +5jaar en werkt zowel onder Vistal als W7 "out-of-the-box.

Ik heb,naar aanleiding van een mail van HP toch nog maar vista op de laptop gezet,want HP heeft nog geen compatible driver voor deze printer daar windows nog niet in de schappen ligt en er te veel veranderde.Tzt stap ik wel weer over op Seven

Een van de punten waar microsoft constant op hamert is dat er geen nieuwe drivers nodig zijn voor Win 7. Het maakt gebruik van dezelfde hardware-architectuur als Vista en een 32bit Vista driver werkt op een 32bit Win 7 (64 -> 64). Mijn simpel laserprinter op 't werk (hp) doet het ook perfect onder 7. Ik gebruik altijd de universal driver zoals hierboven vermeld.
