I am on Belgacom, not Scarlet, I have this problem with disconnects every 5 min for 1 month now. What can I do? 3 Techniciens came to my place and did nothing, the problem is not from my place it is this server / router 91.183.246.107. I found this forum post by google the IP address. Please help me no one at Belgacom seems to understand the problem.

That isn't a disconnect at all. If you're disconnected, a traceroute (and even a dns lookup) can't be done. So the first hop of your traceroute would fail.
Internet = Orange 150/15Mbps + WirelessBelgië
Telefonie = EDPnet + OVH
GSM = Orange Go Extreme SE + Scarlet Red
TV = TVV App + Netflix + Disney+ + Streamz
Netwerk = Mikrotik + Ubiquiti
yes it is not a disconnect, but how can I cmd tracert route when I get disconnected? So only when I get reconnected I can do this command. 2 techies came to my place, 1 said it is a problem in the street, and did nothing, the other came to my home and changed some wires, thou so it happens at the time he did that internet did not fail. At all. After he left, worked ok for a 1 day thou I still had packet loss on skype and MMO games (lag spike and interruptions). This happened last Saturday. Since monday it got worse.... I am pretty sure it is that router/server that shows up.

I'm afraid it isn't that one. In that case everyone who uses BGC internet would have the same problem.
Maybe that other BGC internet customers can do a traceroute to eg google.be and post them over here?

True. 1st techniciean that was supposed to come, called me and asked if I am home, I said yes, and then he didnt showed up. 2nd one, was smarter, called me and said I dont have to be home becouse it is a problem "in the street", nonetheless I stayed home, to see if problems improved. NOT A SINGLE THING. Disconnects after disconnects. After 1 more week a 3rd technician came, and checked my connection, all seems fine when he was here, thou I was not browsing internet or any other stuff. He changed some of the wires and tested connection. Download and Upload was fine. I showed him tracert command like above. And he called other technicien...anyways...He said they will check it. After 2 days, I was at work and some technician called me and asked if now my internet is ok? I said I have no ideea since I am not home. He said that they do their best to make it work.krisken schreef:I'm afraid it isn't that one. In that case everyone who uses BGC internet would have the same problem.

The disconnects seem to occur more offen when I play some video games online or intense download (like youtube 1080p ) or skype calls.
I checked my status on belgacom site all seems well there with all bills payed and traffic under maximum of 500gb.
here is some of the router log before disconnects

Could indeed be a modem that's bricked
Internet = Orange 150/15Mbps + WirelessBelgië
Telefonie = EDPnet + OVH
GSM = Orange Go Extreme SE + Scarlet Red
TV = TVV App + Netflix + Disney+ + Streamz
Netwerk = Mikrotik + Ubiquiti
Well yeah, I will try this. I will call them for another technician and I will insist that he brings a new bbox with him, so we test it. I see no other trick to it.If that does not work. I guess I will switch the ISP, becouse this problem is for 1 month now.
