waarom werkt telnet smtp.telepac.pt 25 niet en telnet smtp.skynet.be wel? het lijkt er op dat ook de uitgaande poort 25 geblokt wordt buiten het domain skynet... erg leuk voor mobile gebruikers die op verschillende (adsl/cable) netwerken zitten en dus niet hun company smtp server kunnen gebruiken ...

kijk, eindenlijk eens iemand die het eens glas helder op papier zet.

het zijn een stel e*k*ls van de eerste oorde. ik snap ook niet zo'n bedrijf nog kan bestaan...

maar goed... gelukkig zijn er nog andere wegen binnen europa.

@ kikker46; dat is zeker waar voor een interne pci adsl modem.

@ sasuke; tenzij je slechte nic drivers geinstalleerd hebt, rotte utp kabel, slechte rj45 connector etc etc... dan help ook een ethernet router niet.

the same here, at midnight no internet for about 2 min. was looking at pinkpop web tv... my cisco pix still is in the same ip range... speed according speed.nl the same as before june the 1st.

After I changed from an USB ADSL modem to an ADSL router I improved my Internet speed. To test I played some radio sites even with two computers connected. The USB connection with only one computer connected to the same radio site was not really playing, lots of drops!

I am not sure what caused ...

just tried to make a connection to an ftp site ie ftp.mcafee.com and it is working. do you use a firewall? if so check the settings so that you can make an outbound connection over port 20 & 21.
